2. Set up for 135 full frame, horizontal.

3. Perform Light Source Correction. < 12 >

4. Aim Density Registration; Enter your best aim or .73 .70 .75 as a starting point.

1257/1827, 1258/1828, 3008, 720W, 728W menu < 324 >. (ch 1,1)

5. Set Paper Balance on the main paper size < 421 > to 500 500 500.

6. Perform Upkeep Printing < 13 >.

7. Perform Densitometer Setup for the neutral density filter. < 742 >

8. Perform Time Slope. < 453 >

** If two manufacturers of paper are used on the machine at the same time, each must be assigned to a different time slope, and a time slope test must be performed for each.

9. 1257/1827, 1258/1828, 3008, 720W, 728W

Perform Size Master Autosetup < 312 > (ch 1,1) (for each format/size negative: 135F, 135P, 135H, IX240V, 110H)

1250/1820, 1255/1825, 3000/3005, 1252 (ch1,1)

1250/1820, 1255/1825, 3000/3005, 1252

Re - balance the monitor in Master Monitor Balance. < 414 >

INDEX PRINT BALANCING PROCEDURES "A " series machines

DO NOT perform index print procedures until all other balancing procedures have been completed. (including monitor balance)

1. Paper Autosetup < 422 > All versions ( 1.0 and above ) have a secondary display which maintains balance to an aim that was input into menu < 482 > . This aim should be .77 .69 .73. The paper balance procedures done on each paper channel should account for the major portion of a paper changeover procedure. Make sure to perform paper autosetup on any paper type that you will be using to make index prints . If fine tuning is necessary follow the steps below:

2. Make Index Prints on IX240 ( APS ). They should look like the monitor. If balance changes are necessary to match the index print to the monitor, offset the balance numbers in Correction Balance Setup menu < 485 > for IX240.

3. Make Index Prints on 135mm. They should look like the monitor. If balance changes are necessary to match the index print to the monitor, offset the balance numbers in Correction Balance Setup menu < 485 > for 135mm.
