1) Does the NC-2 Printer Interface to both PC and MAC platforms?
2) If you are getting pictures with blue tint.
3) If you are getting pictures with blue tint with new NC-2 paper.
4) Printed picture looks washed out from video input.
5) Printed picture looks washed out from digital input.
6) The NC-2 prints but 2/3 or 1/3 of the printing area is improper color. This problem only occurs with digital connection from PC.
1) Does the NC-2 Printer
Interface to both PC and
MAC platforms?
If your pictures have a blue
tint, the TA print paper is
not properly handled. Please follow instructions
below to avoid this problem.
Do not face yellow side of print paper to any light source.
When opening a pack of the new print paper, put papers into the printer as quickly as possible and do not face yellow side to any light source.
If you are not using the printer more than a few days, remove the print paper and put them back to original aluminum bag.
2) If you are getting pictures
with blue tint.
Check
for the following:
Check if another application occupies the printer port (LPT1). If it does, close the application.
Change setting of parallel mode to BI- DIRECTIONAL or ECP mode. For details of how to change this setting, please refer to the instruction manual of your PC or contact your PC manufacturer.
If your PC is connected to the network, remove the PC from the network temporarily. Some network systems disable the local printer port.
3) If you are getting pictures
with blue tint with new NC-2
paper.
The NC-2 is equipped with a test
function. To activate the test
mode, remove the power cable from the AC outlet,
then push and hold "power" and
"select" buttons. Re-connect the power cable. When
the print mechanism has
started, release the "power" and "select" buttons.
If test print is
still blue then the NC-2 needs service.
4) Printed
picture looks washed out from video input.
Capture image first, then go
to color adjust to increase color saturation.
5)
Printed picture looks washed out from digital
input.
Click "options"
from NC-2 print window, and then adjust Gamma of
each color.
6)The NC-2 prints but 2/3 or 1/3 of
the printing area is improper
color. This problem only occurs with digital
connection from PC.
Please
change printer port setting of your PC to ECP mode
Image data is much larger
than text files therefore standard mode of your PC
may not be capable of
handling such a large data file.

1) Printer is not
recognized by computer.
The NC-300D uses a SCSI interface. Make sure
that there is not a conflict
with SCSC ID of any attached devices.

Printer
Driver software is available within the Service
and Support section of this
site.
3) White line
appears on printout.
If a
white line appears on the prints, make sure that
there is no dust in the paper
path and try a few more prints. If the white line
appears in the same location,
the NC-300D may need a new print head.

1) The NX-5 has a built-in
card reader - what kind
of memory card can I use?
The NX-5 accepts
up to 8MB SmartMedia (3.3
volt or 5 volt). It does not accept compact flash
card.

If your
pictures have a blue tint, the TA print paper is
not properly handled. Please
follow instructions below to avoid this problem.
