(FEUS) has begun construction to expand its current facility in Mesa, Arizona.   As part of its operations, Fujifilm purifies, blends, and packages chemicals for the semiconductor industry.    

We have experienced solid growth over the last several years, and at the same time, we also need to support the continuously evolving technology needs of our market,” said Scott Klamm, Vice President of Operations, FUJIFILM Electronic Materials, U.S.A., Inc.  “This investment is particularly important as it expands on existing high purity clean room laboratory space and provides the additional state of the art metrology equipment needed to allow FEUS to continue to provide the most advanced analyses for the high purity products produced at the Mesa, AZ facility. “With the increased technological advances in the semiconductor industry, FEUS needs to maintain its leadership position in supplying our customers with a broad range of high purity electronic chemicals ,” said Dr. Brian O’Donnelly, President & CEO, FUJIFILM Electronic Materials U.S.A., Inc.  “This expansion will take us to the next level of metrology and analytical capability at the Mesa, AZ site.

The project, expected to generate additional jobs for the area, is scheduled to be completed early next year.
