Wayne, N.J., October 24, 2014 (Booth # 1813) The Endoscopy Division of FUJIFILM Medical Systems U.S.A., Inc., will feature its latest innovations in providing high-resolution, high-quality medical imaging to pulmonologists. Sonart, Fujifilm’s ultrasound processor will be among the products on display at CHEST 2014, the annual meeting of the American College of Chest Physicians, on October 25-30 at the Austin Convention Center in Austin, TX.

 

Fujifilm will also host a presentation by Hans Lee, M.D., Director of Pleural Disease Services and Assistant Professor of Medicine at Johns Hopkins. Dr. Lee will present a session on TBNA (Transbronchial Needle Aspiration) and his experience with the Fujifilm EBUS (Endobronchial Ultrasound System), including a hands-on demonstration. The presentation will be held on Monday, October 27 and Tuesday, October 28 from 11:00 to 11:30 AM at the Fujifilm booth.

Equipped with high-resolution and ultra-small Super CCD chip technology, this scope offers vivid, high- resolution endoscopic images. Unique design features of the EB-530US include a 10° forward oblique view, dual light guide for even illumination and exceptional bending capability to facilitate targeting of accessories.
