Now compatible with the LiveGrade PRO color management solution from Pomfort

VALHALLA, N.Y., January 31, 2014 FUJIFILM North America Corporation’s Imaging Division announced the release of an expanded feature set for its popular IS-mini LUT box.  Digital imaging technicians and cinematographers will now have the ability to use the IS-mini with Pomfort’s professional look and color management solution LiveGrade PRO for the film set.

Combining the Fujifilm IS-mini's rugged build and much-praised color rendering abilities with Pomfort’s well-designed and popular software application LiveGrade PRO, DITs and cinematographers will now be able to achieve full control of live HD-SDI signals from digital cameras in a highly precise yet affordable package. Because the IS-mini works with 10-bit color cubes of 26x26x26 in size, users are ensured of highly accurate viewing with far less banding and color artifacts than previously possible.

“By combining Fujifilm’s groundbreaking color management and class-leading capability, with Pomfort’s simplified on-set workflows for media and color, this enhancement of the IS-mini gives even more power and control to technicians, editors, VFX providers, and directors,” said Manny Almeida, senior vice president and general manager, FUJIFILM North America Corporation, Imaging and Electronic Imaging Divisions.

The Fujifilm IS-mini has an MSRP of $1,300, and Pomfort LiveGrade Pro is priced at $979. The newly enhanced versions will be available in end of January 2014.
