Wayne, NJ, October 11, 2013 (Booth #821) – At the Annual Scientific Meeting of the American College of Gastroenterology (ACG) in San Diego, the Endoscopy Division of FUJIFILM Medical Systems U.S.A., Inc. will showcase some of its latest innovations including Sonart, Fujifilm's new ultrasound processor and companion second generation ultrasound video endoscopes to better serve GI professionals and their patients from October 13th – 15th, 2013.

“Fujifilm combines its experience and expertise in gastrointestinal endoscopy products with its leadership in innovative technology,” said Kurt Cannon, Vice President of Sales, Marketing & Operations, Endoscopy Division, FUJIFILM Medical Systems U.S.A., Inc. “Fujifilm is helping GI professionals around the world with a comprehensive product offering which allows them to see their way through their endoscopy procedures with confidence."
Fujifilm provides gastroenterologists with advanced technologies to improve image quality in their daily practice. Fujifilm’s new ultrasound processor, Sonart, is equipped with innovative image processing technology called ZONE Sonography™ and Sound Speed Correction Technology that provides excellent diagnostic capabilities. Compact, yet comprehensive, Sonart brings a new approach to endoscopic ultrasound, easily integrating into a slim endoscopic procedure cart with video processor and light source.
For added convenience, the system can be used in conjunction with the EG-530UR2 radial scope and the EG-530UT2 convex scope. While the EG-530UR2 radial scope provides unique forward viewing, the design of the EG-530UT2 convex scope permits passage of therapeutic devices and needle position guide on the ultrasound image.
Fujifilm continues to advance their network of offerings by developing strategic alliances with Beacon Endoscopic, Inc. and Summit Imaging. Both company portfolios enhance and complement Fujifilm’s product line enabling Fujifilm to better serve the specialized needs of GI professionals. The expanded market reach will lead to more options for customers, and continued growth for all organizations. Fujifilm will now represent Beacon’s bnx™ System in select markets both globally and in the United States and is the exclusive distributor of the Summit Imaging suite of software products designed to work directly with any GI endoscopy OEM platform.
Beacon Endoscopic, Inc. and Summit Imaging will have a presence at the Fujifilm booth. Visit Fujifilm at ACG 2013 (Booth #821) to learn more or to speak with a Fujifilm representative.
